The Pipeline Infrastructure Manager is a web-based pipeline data management application that is compliant with the Pipeline Open Data Standard™ (PODS). In addition the Pipeline Infrastructure Manager is capable of utilizing the Oracle™ or Microsoft SQL Server™ Database Management Engine platform. Therefore, your PODS™ implementation remains completely transparent to other applications whether custom built or off-the-shelf.

Administration

The Pipeline Infrastructure Manager is highly configurable having a rich set of administrator capabilities including user management, pipeline grouping, item visibility, lookup table management, and others.

  • User Management - Controls the user profile, rights, and access privileges.
  • Groups - Collections of lines that users can update. Administrators add/edit groups, add lines to groups, and add users to groups from here.
  • Item Visibility - Administrators can hide certain elements of features.
  • Lookup Table Management - Administrators can edit drop-down lists for features having drop-down list entries.
  • Feature Type - Features come in two types: point and line where point features require only a starting station point while line features require starting and ending station points.
  • Master Configuration - Controls the overall settings of PODS Editor
